Overview

From the formation of the club as Newton Heath LYR through to the Championship in 2012/13 the history of Manchester United is retold in comic-strip form. From Charlie Roberts (and his short shorts!), through the Busby Babes, George Best, Sir Bobby Charlton, Denis Law, Bryan Robson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Eric Cantona, Ryan Giggs, the Nevilles, David Beckham and Wayne Rooney, all the United legends come to life again as they blaze their glorious story across these pages. About The Comic Strip History Series: Wonderfully hand-drawn by former Roy of the Rovers illustrator Bob Bond, The Comic Strip History series brings the history of England's biggest and most illustrious football clubs to life in the true spirit of the great British football comics. With balls flying in to top corners accompanied by a great big 'WOOSH!', witty comments in speech bubbles from the crowd and cups aplenty being lifted by modern-day legends and heroes of yore, these books make history come to life in a way that is authoratitive yet entertaining.
