United Middle School Mysteries Book 14

Overview

At United Middle School, the lights flicker, whispers echo through the halls, and clues never stay hidden for long. When strange things start happening-shadows that move on their own, lockers that seem to talk, messages written in invisible ink, and even light bulbs that vanish overnight-Principal Thompson calls in the school's best detectives: Jake, Emily, Amy, and Max, better known as The Young Investigators. With sharp minds, quick teamwork, and a knack for noticing what others miss, the four friends follow the clues through science labs, hallways, and classrooms to uncover the truth behind every mystery. Packed with clever twists, humor, and heart, the United Middle School Mysteries remind readers that friendship, curiosity, and courage can solve even the trickiest cases-one clue at a time.

Author Information

About the Author E. J. Rohly grew up on a farm in rural Ohio, where her imagination had plenty of room to run wild. As a kid, she loved making up stories-especially when she babysat and could share her tales with the kids she watched. Sometimes, she even let them produce their own endings! Making up stories is still one of her favorite things to do. Esther went to school to learn more about teaching kids, and she became a preschool teacher, where she has spent years creating fun ways for little ones to learn and grow. As her family grew, she took literature classes to get better at writing, hoping to author her own books. Now, she is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and continues to learn new things through writing classes. Today, she is busy writing mysteries and adventures to spark imagination, just like her own love of stories sparked years ago on her family's farm.
