Overview

It is noontime Friday and an agent is telling me, for the first time, that $12,500 cash is to be deposited in the bank at eight a.m. the following Monday. If not, I will lose my job. During this time I found a way to take our two boys, ages nine and eleven, out of school and travel across the country for a year. Have you ever heard a story about how someone found God? And what he did with that discovery? I have always led an adventurous life. The kind of adventure that includes being in business at age twelve, playing neighborhood baseball, college, family, the military, real estate, and stock investments, and careers spanning decades to a few months. Nearly all of my adventures presented challenges and struggles that I overcame with a determination to win and prove to myself that I was better than what my grades showed. I proved myself right, and that left me with a happy and joyful life with no regrets and bullets left to accomplish.
