Author Information

Dr. Frazier was born in Hood River, OR where he attended school until the 8th grade. He then moved to Oklahoma where he finished high school, graduating as salutatorian from Grove High School. He continued his education at the University of Dallas where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry with honors. He then continued a pursuit of education for the next several years obtaining a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature from University of Houston, a Masters in Liberal Arts from the University of St. Thomas (French literature in translation/Medieval History/Ancient Philosophy), a Masters of Science in Organic Chemistry at the University of Oklahoma (Synthetic Organic Chemistry), and finally a Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma (thesis: Unique ansa-Bis-(Indenyl)Metallocenes: The Quest for Catalysts). He has worked: on cattle farms, fish farms, and dairy farms; as a research technician in molecular genetics, as a special education tutor in mathematics, and as a teacher at every level from 5th grade through college. He has been nominated for several teaching awards over the years and has written poetry and laboratory textbooks. His research interests vary widely, from olefin catalysis to Oklahoma enology and from chemical education to wildlife conservation. He was nominated for Oklahoma Innovator of the Year in 2007 and directed Redlands Community College's Summer Science Academy Exploring Natural Resources through the summer of 2013 and is now devoting his time to writing.
