Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr Georgia Panagiotidou is a political scientist and researcher specializing in applied political analysis, comparative electoral studies, data science, and research methods. Over the past decade, she has been teaching quantitative and qualitative methodology, political marketing, and electoral analysis at multiple institutions, including Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Hellenic Open University, the University of the Aegean, and for the University of Derby (Mediterranean College). A key focus of Dr Panagiotidou’s research lies in voter prediction through machine learning, the study of political behavior, and the promotion of civic engagement. She works as a postdoctoral researcher in the Horizon Europe project AI4GOV, which explores the integration of artificial intelligence in governance, and is actively involved in Sol4all and EUdream, two CERV-funded projects centered on political participation and civic engagement. In addition, she was the scientific leader of the cross-national study Youth Stand for the Future of Europe, commissioned by the European Union, where she coordinated a multi-country team investigating youth perspectives on European integration. Beyond these projects, Dr Panagiotidou has contributed to notable initiatives such as helpmevote.gr, Greece’s pioneering Voting Advice Application, and took part in the COST True European Voter project, further solidifying her expertise in comparative electoral analysis.
