Brian Wheaton was a Master of Wine and one of the world's top wine experts and teachers. A member of the Association of Wine Educators and the world-famous order of the Chevaliers de Tastevin in Burgundy, he worked for more than forty years as a wine buyer, writer, and teacher and ran his own vineyard. Early in his career, he was awarded the prestigious Michael Gordon Clark Wine Trade Scholarship and spent time in the great vineyards of Spain, Portugal, Germany, and France.
