Boraz is the rabbi of Congregation Bnai Tzedek and cofounder of its Creative School of Jewish Learning. He received a Juris Doctor from Loyola University and practiced law for ten years. Awarded a Wexner Fellowship, he was ordained at Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion in 1993. Currently, he is a doctoral candidate at the college-institute in the field of rabbinics.
