Reviews

'This book is a fundamental reference for understanding the reasons behind the remarkably successful performance of the Irish economy in recent years and for uncovering the keys to its future development...The authors display an outstanding ability to combine the rigour of economic principles and a sophisticated empirical analysis with a deep knowledge of the Irish economy and its institututions...Reading it will prove of great value to academics, policymakers, private-sector economists and, more generally, to all those interested in the Irish economy.' - Jose Vinals, Head of Monetary and Financial Studies, Banco de Espana 'This collection of papers is excellent. It should be required reading for every economist interested in catch-up and convergence in economic growth.' - Nick Crafts, Professor of Economic History, London School of Economics
