Overview

This text is written specifically for non-technical personnel who work with engineers, but aren't familiar with the engineering concepts and technical aspects of cellular radio and telecommunications systems. William Webb is director of strategy at Motorola. He received both a Ph.D. in mobile radio and an M.B.A. from Southampton University. Dr. Webb holds four patents, and has published more than 40 professional papers. He is a member of the IEE, a senior member of the IEEE, and a chartered engineer.
