Trained in the UK, he is an interdisciplinary cancer prevention scientist with a background in health geography, GIS and environmental epidemiology. His research is concerned with how the environment influences cancer; including environmental exposures and the interrelation between behaviours and the built environment. This work cuts across the interplay between behaviour, environment, exposures and cancer risk to support cancer prevention through integrated knowledge translation.
