Gabby is a little girl with Autism who loves to ride BMX bikes. She is seven years old and speaks using only a few words and signs. She has a strong personality, a great smile, and has an aptitude for computers and math. Despite her difficulties with communication, she carves out space for herself with her BMX skills.Her father is an aerospace engineer who helps her customize and soup up her bike. He loves her dearly and makes sure she's happy. One day, after beating the neighborhood kids in a race, Gabby comes across a tall ramp they all suspect was built by the respected and reviled teenagers. She speeds up the ramp and flies into the air, but her bike twists, and she crashes the landing. Determined to get the jump right, she sneaks out after bedtime and tries the jump again.
