Steve Light lives in New York, where he teaches 3-6-year-olds at the West Side Montessori School. As an artist, he received his BFA from Pratt and has been a student of the David J. Passalacqua School of Drawing and Illustration for more than ten years. He is also the author of Abrams' Puss in Boots, and the creator of the Press-Out and Play format for Abrams, starting with Hello Kitty Hello Playtime: Tricycle and Hello Kitty Hello Playtime: Rocking Horse.
