The United Nations and Regional Security, (Lynne Rienner, 2003), Regional Security in Southeast Asia: Beyond the ASEAN Way (Singapore: Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, forthcoming 2005), and ""Revisioning Human Security in Southeast Asia, Asian Perspective, 2004. Amitav Acharya is Deputy Director and Head of Research at the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he also holds a professorship.
