Reviewed in the United States �������� on April 5, 2023This book offers a good overview of various ways to reduce negative thinking that drives anxiety. This confirms what I've always believed. I implemented the meditation exercise in chapter 6 because I did just have an argument with a relative a few days ago and wanted to put this to the test. It just so happened at the time I did this it was raining outside and I was listening to soft music. I was so at peace I fell asleep! My mind was definitely at rest. This book does not mention God or the Bible but I couldn't help but think as I was reading that It totally makes sense now why Phillipians 4:8 says whatever is true, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, or any praise think about these things. It confirms what this book says about refocusing or re-framing your thoughts. If everyone could think this way as described in the book, we would have fewer people acting out negatively or saying hurtful things.
