Overview

This DVD demonstrates, via synchronized video and three-dimensional animation, how to perform ultrasound-assisted peripheral nerve blocks for the lower limbs. It presents all blocks commonly performed, including blocks of the sciatic nerve, lumbar plexus, and femoral nerve. Each block is presented step by step with voice-over narration and synchronized video clips of ultrasound localization of the nerve, surrounding anatomy, needle advancement, and anesthetic application. A DVD focusing on ultrasound-guided nerve blocks for the upper limbs is also available. These DVDs can be purchased either separately or together in a money-saving package. Note: These DVDs are not Mac compatible.
