Paula Briggs is Module Guardian for the Special Skills module in ultrasound for the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust. She uses ultrasound regularly in her clinical practice and is involved in practical training of healthcare professionals in ultrasound. Julie-Michelle Bridson, a previous president of the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS), has been involved in ultrasound education and training for 25 years, forming part of many clinical areas in medical ultrasound in women's health, with the University of Liverpool, alongside the accreditation of many ultrasound courses worldwide.
