"It's obvious why fighters and civilians alike in Ukraine need an insurgency manual, a Red Dawn Rulebook, if you will. But this book will likely never end up in Ukrainian hands, so why write it? I'm putting together this manual for several reasons: A portion of each purchase will go toward Samaritan's Purse. I guarantee they'll have boots on the ground with field hospitals, food, shelter, and clothing as soon as they can. There are a lot of shady charities out there, many of whom are supposedly raising money for Ukraine, but I've worked with and known the Samaritan's Purse crew for a long time now. There will be invasions in other places in coming years. There will always be a bigger crackpot who wants to take something from the little guy. And the little guy needs to know how to fight back.
