Udaka Shanti is a sacred collection of Veda Mantras prescribed by Bodhayana Rishi in his Grihya Shesha Sutras in ancient times. It is practiced to purify water and other items and to ensure protection and auspiciousness for major events like weddings and Griha Pravesha, housewarming.Bodhayana Rishi has included many significant and meaningful Mantras from the Taittiriya Samhita and Brahmana parts of the Krishna YajurVeda.
