This is a lecture given at the 4th General Assembly of the German Cantors Association in Nuremberg on April 20, 1914, by Emanuel Kirschner. Titled ""Uber mittelalterliche hebräische Poesien und ihre Singweisen"" (""On Medieval Hebrew Poetry and its Melodies""), the work explores the characteristics and musical settings of Hebrew poetry from the Middle Ages.
