This monograph is devoted to the architectural and urban planning laws of formation and development levels of the historical cities of Uzbekistan from ancient to the beginning of XX century. Appearing and development processes of the first cities are researched in it. Readers who are interested in architecture and urban planning, can use from this book.It is known that the urbanization processes in Uzbekistan began in the Bronze Age and are an important and inseparable sign of the history of the first statehood. The fact that these two processes were closely interconnected is now fully recognized by scientists.The first works devoted to the issues of urbanization, early statehood and ancient culture of Central Asia, including Uzbekistan, were created in the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century based on written sources (V. Tomashek, V. Geiger, E. Reish, J. Prashek). In the 20th century, archaeological work was carried out on the history of the first cities of the Bronze and Early Iron Ages in the regions, expanding the scope of scientific information.
