Overview

I believe this book is fun, emotionally charged and crammed with hot rod fun, you have to be a gear head to enjoy it. It will evoke memories from the 70's and I promise you, it will bring you crashing into the 21st Century as a re-born hot rodder. The characters are thrust into an adventure with a '55 Chevy in the middle of everything. The story is fast it is fun and exciting.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR James W. Bumbarger came from very humble beginnings as he survived a broken home, juvenile delinquency, and the 70's. During his adult life, he drove a truck for a living, taught autobody mechanics, was an adolescent life skills counselor, a mechanic and body shop owner, a 40 year old college football player and student, a publisher, a television producer, a marketing director, and more recently, a bakery shop owner. One constant in his life is his love of cars and hot rodding, and the people who surround this hobby. In 2006, James's life was put in perspective when he contracted a virus that led to severe Cardiomyopathy. Although his future involves a heart transplant, he continues to make all his dreams a reality. James has always been a story teller and will live out the balance of his life as a writer. It's time for him to get out of the fast lane and into the cruising lane. And just enjoy the ride.
