Hien Nguyen delivers an intergenerational tale that slips under your skin . . . and lingers.” —June Hur, New York Times bestselling author of A Crane Among Wolves “In this visceral, haunting debut, worlds collide, and the duality of human nature is explored. Harrowing yet heartwarming, tender yet terrifying, Twin Tides is a poignant meditation on grief, obsession, and the ties that bind us to family near and far. A stellar example of young adult fiction.” —Keshe Chow, #1 Sunday Times bestselling author of The Girl with No Reflection “Twin Tides is a smart and eerie ghost story that conjures a nuanced portrait of the bonds of sisterhood. Nguyen’s delicious debut is layered and atmospheric, with compelling characters that will rise from the depths of a riverbed and pull at your heartstrings.” —Diana Rodriguez Wallach, author of The Silenced “A terrific novel! A page-turner! I loved it and gave it to my teenage son!” —Tom Franklin, New York Times bestselling author of Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter
