Have you ever dreamed of travelling the world, detaching yourself from the expectations of society and made a genuine effort to find out where your true passions lie? At the age of 40, the decision was made to do that. I survived, I flourished and my life has been changed in the most positive way. Primarily a memoir from twenty years of travel experiences around the world, I also reflect on the struggles of being home and trying to find my place living in a world that I have never truly understood. From London to New York, Australia and the Himalayas, my life has been a rapidly evolving journey of change that eventually led to a moment in time where I put myself first and took charge of my own life. For the better. Do you remember the last person you walked past in the supermarket the other day? No? That was probably me. I may be no one you know, but my life has been full of lessons.
