Author Information

Anne L. Willingham is the Educational Outreach Director at Bradfield Stage Lighting and the resident lighting designer for Nashville Shakespeare Festival. She received a Bachelor of Interior Design from the School of Architecture at Auburn University and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Alabama. After a graduate internship at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Ms. Willingham moved to Nashville to design for such groups as Vanderbilt Opera Theatre, Shelter Repertory Dance Theatre, Nashville Children's Theatre, Mockingbird Theatre and People's Branch Theatre. She has been everything from sales to scenic artist, scenic designer, stage hand, lighting tech, lighting designer, and stage manager. In addition to working professionally, Anne has served as adjunct faculty at Belmont University and as an assistant professor at Middle Tennessee State University.
