OverviewTo God be the glory for the simplicity of this new natural way for ordinary people to read, play and write music. If you know your right from your left, and can count from one to ten, you can quickly play the melody and rhythm of the featured and most beloved Psalm 23, The LORD Is My Shepherd. With a little more effort you can learn to add chords and left hand accompaniment. No sharps and no flats, each piano key has its own permanent designation. All black keys are capital letters; all white keys are small letters. By a few pages of instruction from the author who plays by ear, you will learn to turn the keys without any prior knowledge of the piano or keyboard. For those of you who have in mind your own beautiful song or composition, at last, here is a new way to easily jot down, preserve, and if you desire, type your composition using common symbols of your computer keyboard. A written record insures the preservation of your music as vinyl records, cassette tapes, CD's and today's audio recording devices become obsolete by rapidly changing technology. Finally, to enrich your experience of playing the piano, Turning the Keys also includes sheet music for these 30 beautiful Psalms of the Bible (KJV): 1. Blessed Is The Man That Walketh Not In The Counsel Of The Ungodly 2. Why Do The Heathen Rage And The People Imagine A Vain Thing? 3. Arise, O LORD 8. O LORD, Our Lord, How Excellent Is Thy Name In All The Earth! 11. If The Foundations Be Destroyed, What Can The Righteous Do? 12. Help LORD, For The Godly Man Ceaseth 13. How Long Wilt Thou Forget Me, O LORD? 15. LORD, Who Shall Abide In Thy Tabernacle? 16. Thou Art My Lord 20. The LORD Hear Thee In The Day Of Trouble 23. The LORD Is My Shepherd 40. Lo, I Come In The Volume of the Book 46. Be Still, And Know That I Am God 47. O Clap Your Hands, All Ye People 48. The City Of The Great King 54. Save Me, O God, By Thy Name 63. My Soul Thirsteth For Thee 70. Make Haste, O God, To Deliver Me 72. He Shall Come Down Like Rain 93. The LORD Reigneth, He Is Clothed With Majesty 95. O Come, Let Us Sing Unto The LORD 100. Make A Joyful Noise Unto The LORD 119:9-16. Thy Word Have I Hid In Mine Heart 119:89-96. For Ever, O LORD, Thy Word Is Settled in Heaven 121. The LORD Is Thy Keeper 122. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDarlene Slavujac Thau has developed a music notation system to make piano playing possible for everyone by a very simple method born out of the God given, natural gift of playing by ear. As a small child she often wondered why everyone did not play the piano by ear. After all, when the note of a song sounded higher than the previous note, one simply turned to the right on the keyboard to locate the piano key which matched the sound. If the next note sounded lower, one turned to the left on the keyboard to find the key which matched that sound, and so forth. During the last few years, she has composed music inspired by the words of over 45 Psalms from the Holy Bible (KJV), and now has made 30 of those compositions available in Turning The Keys. Over the last twenty-five years, she has been occupied as a biblical artist, whose prints and lithographs have been sold nationally and internationally. Combining the biblical art with the original music compositions of the Psalms, she has created and published 37 music/videos which can be heard on YouTube. Most of the 30 Psalms in Turning the Keys, may be heard at her YouTube channel, repentbelieve1. The artwork in the mediums of oil, watercolors and pastels can be viewed at biblicalartist.net. She is actively engaged in producing more sheet music for future publication. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
