Like I have always said... this love for currency has provided more opportunities for growth then just my pocket money. During the past years of going to currency conventions, and even at some of the many comic book conventions I attend, I have met many great and interesting people. Without the wonderful support of our audience and the hard work of all those on the staff, this second volume to our currency guide series would not be possible.Now, onto the task at hand. This guide serves as the second installment in a series covering the collecting, care and pricing of United States coins and banknotes. It aims to help those getting into the hobby for the first time by offering currency information, tips, terminology and checklists, as well as, price guides and error coin information for the more veteran collectors.Since the release of the last volume in this series, a lot has changed in a hobby you would think would have constant stagnancy. In actuality, that line of thought would be wrong! Outside of the economical changes effecting the value of currency one way or another, to proposed changes in anti- counterfeiting measures and graphics, to personal changes in the opportunities to collect currency. These factors are some of the foundation for this guide.
