A beginning course ideal for students, travelers and business people, Turkish PDQ (Pretty Darn Quick) is fun, easy to use, and versatile. Learners can complete it on-the-go by listening to the CD's and then reinforcing their knowledge with the workbook/learning guide. It teaches everyday-essential phrases and vocab using native speakers, and develops correct pronunciation with an authentic accent; teaches over 500 practical Turkish words/phrases and the ability to speak, understand and write basic Turkish. The listener is taken to a Turkish-speaking country where s/he will discover how to get by in everyday situations, e.g., meeting and greeting people for the first time; asking questions and ordering food and drink; talking about your family and friends; finding your way around and asking directions.
