Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationAustin Dwyer is a Senior Fellow with the Pacific Rim Institute of Marine Artists and Signature Member of the American Society of Marine Artists. He was born in County Tipperary, Ireland and besides being a painter, he is also a published author, teacher and musician having studied at the Municipal School of Music in Dublin. He came to America in 1957 and joined the USAF. After his discharge he was accepted to the Burnley School of Professional Art in Seattle. After graduation, Austin and Dale Cohen founded an advertising and marketing firm in Seattle. Austin and his wife Mig have 8 children, 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
