Reviews

Great stories to use with young children. The books are made of sturdy cardboard and feature a mixture of familiar and unfamiliar age-appropriate scenes and pictures. Each page has a statement - for example 'elephant has floppy ears' - and the opposite page folds out to reveal the baby and the repetitive 'just like me!' that features in the title. The physical characteristics of these books make them appropriate to use with very young children and toddlers. The thick pages are easy to turn, the fold out flaps add the element of surprise and the statements are repetitive. The bright colours and simple illustrations are attention-grabbing. The books are relatively small which makes them easier for little hands to to hold and carry around as independence develops. -- Margo Turnbull Early Talk 2007 Part of the delightful 'Just Like Me' series. The themes and charming drawings are sure to engage the attention of the very young and provide lots of scope for adult-child interaction. Nursery World 20071018
