Overview

Tsuro and Gudo folkstories retell and reimagine the African folktales for the global audience and allow the Tsuro and Gudo's story to eveolve with time. In the Shona culture, animal stories were told every night by the cooking-fire either outside the hut or inside the hut as the family prepared and ate dinner. The children would gather around the fire and listen attentively as the elder in the family told these educational and suspense filled stories. The kids would always ask for another story because each story was always interesting, but as for the adults, they took these moments to teach their children lessons though storytelling.
