Kristi Schmidt was born and raised in West Texas and moved to the Texas Hill Country to pursue her degree in Education at Texas State University. She taught middle school English, coached middle school girls, taught PreK and spent many years serving in children's ministry. Community service has always been her passion and getting elected to her local school board combines her love for education and service.
