Trump & The Guardian Aliens

Overview

Lilliputian sized aliens, who look very much like humans, have lived on our planet for over two hundred years. They are dismayed when a US president is elected who does not believe in climate change. They know that the world cannot solve the climate change crisis if the most powerful nation in the world is led by a president who does not believe his own scientists.Their creative, daring efforts efforts to save the planet present a serious challenge to the new President, the Pentagon and the FBI. Their brave struggle leads to revolutionary changes in government, new hope for environmentalists and a bright future for everyone. This book is a sequel to ""Pixel"", a book that was published in 2013.Pixel landed in the state of New York in 1776.He was the sole astronaut in a spacecraft from a planet called Larth. He was overwhelmed when he discovered that the dominant species on the planet were giants. Larthans are only one inch tall. Pixel befriends a mother and her two children who are struggling on a frontier farm. They teach him to read and speak English. He helps them with their farm chores. He uses his spacecraft to rescue the father from a prison on the Isle of Wight in England. When the father tethers a rowboat to the spacecraft Pixel tows him across the English Channel to safety in France.Pixel helped future explorers from Larth to settle in other countries where they also befriend humans and learned the local language. It was relatively easy for the early explorers keep their size a secret. When humans learned to fly, built steam powered ships and developed the telephone Larthans realized that they could no longer befriend humans. They expanded natural caves in remote mountains to serve as community centers.Larthans lived outdoors in the daytime, they had private homes that they built in treetops. At night they met in the caves for fellowship and entertainment.""Pixel is a likeable little guy with a big heart. The whimsical tone of the story is most likely to appeal to middle grade and young adult readers who are sure to find Pixel's adventures entertaining."" (ForeWord Clarion Reviews) ""A refreshingly straightforward and unique reflection on human relationships."" The novel's ""simple approach to sci-fi is provocative and even touching."" (Kirkus Indie - A review service from Kirkus Reviews)""an uncommon mix of historical fiction and science fiction."" (Blueink Reviews)
