Statistics do not bleed or cry, yet they show us trends and thus indicate the behaviors of people. Judging by the data, there are no encouraging elements regarding the sexual experiences that many young people are having in today's world. For example, in Mexico, the age of sexual initiation for males is 17 years and for females, it is 15.5 years old. This leads to over 29 pregnancies in mothers under 19 years of age in that country, of which at least 10% undergo abortions. Another study conducted in the U.S. shows that nearly 90% of people in a sample of 38,000 had had relationships before marriage. These numbers are misleading because someone might assume that the quantity indicates it is normal... and that is not necessarily the case. The proposal of this book is that TRUE LOVE WAITS, a concept derived from 1 Corinthians 13, the chapter on love. It is important for young people to know why it is so important to wait. What lies behind the wait. Why it is imperative that we understand that even sexual love has its time, not to make us unhappy, but precisely the opposite, to achieve fulfillment. Written by Dr. Miguel Ángel Núñez, an educator and couples therapist with extensive experience who has traveled to numerous countries giving seminars on education, sexuality, marriage, and couples. He has written more than 100 books. He lives in Spain with his wife and near his 2 children and four beloved grandchildren.
