Author Information

Giovanna Ranaldi has had many careers, from an engraver to printer, restorer and educator; she is currently an illustrator and author. Among other things, she conceived and conducted an art workshop for the homeless at a day centre in Rome. Her previous books have won several awards and her works have been exhibited across the world. Giovanna currently lives between Rome and Madrid. Katherine Gregor translates from Italian, Russian and French. She is also a playwright and a fiction writer and maintains a regular blog.
