OverviewEmbroiled against her will in international intrigues and battles waged by shadowy clandestine organizations, a young woman endowed with supernatural visionary powers chooses to come to terms with her tragic past and learns to trust in herself and in her instincts again in order to rescue an unjustly arrested defender of human rights. Thanks to her strong moral compass she is able to guide herself through situations in which good and evil are not always clearly defined, either in America, China, or beyond as her adventures take her on a wild and perilous adventure through America, China, and beyond, both in-person and ethereally. This is a well-written imaginative tale, and Jazz's progression from broken to a self-aware and poised woman is well defined and compelling. One quibble could be that at times, one has to wonder why she did not use her powers more often to get herself out of tight spots she found herself in, but this is a minor issue.
