We also have seven children: Josh, Meghan, Robert, Kristi, Jon, Jerimiah, and Troy. They came to us through the foster care system and have all been adopted as our children. I have wanted to write children's books for over forty years. I would try to start a book, and it would always fail. Finally, I decided to write stories about my children, because I believe they have stories that need to be told and shared. I'm excited to share these stories with you in the Troy the Llama series! Victoria Peterson Laird: I have had a love for animals and art my entire life, so it was a natural choice for me to prefer animals as my subject matter. I love seeing the beauty, intelligence, and soul in their eyes. I have been working as a portrait and wildlife artist since 1971, and I am the author and illustrator of six children's books and a cookbook titled America's Favorites, Naturally. I have illustrated nine books by other authors. In addition, I taught art at William Penn University for twenty-five years. Merle's llamas and alpacas were fun to get to know! My free time is spent training and showing my dogs and horses and being out in nature's beauty. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
