Author Information

Steven Price is an author, producer, speaker, historian and preservation consultant based in Los Angeles. A native Angeleno, Steven came of age in the 1960s and 70s, a golden time and place for the architecture and design style later to be known as Mid-Century Modern. After a nearly 20-year career in the entertainment industry, Price is now a recognized authority on the subject, with sold-out speaking engagements on the subjects of Trousdale Estates, developer Paul Trousdale, and Mid-Century Beverly Hills. He has briefed the Beverly Hills Cultural Heritage Commission on the history of Trousdale Estates and contributed to the list of Master Architects under the City s Historic Preservation Ordinance, enacted in 2012.
