Author Information

Wilfred J. Plumbe (FLA) has worked in the tropics for 35 years; he has been university librarian of six universities, president of two library associations, editor of three library journals, and co-planner of six library buildings. He has published 80 articles and papers on aspects of librarianship, and his earlier books are Libraries and Archives in Fiji, The Preservation of Books in Tropical and Subtropical Countries, African Poems, and Kingdom of Earth (poems).
