TRIPLET TWINNING TEAMS TRIATHLONREVISED EDITIONThis is a competition for creative writers, in which three teams compete against each other, to produce a winning two-page story in one of three genres: the 'Wild West', 'Poetry' or 'Murder Mystery'.It can be conducted in any language, providing the language used is common to all.The teams will alternate and each will 'lead' in one of the three rounds and 'follow' in the remaining two. The leading team will be referred to as the Setters as they will be given the job of setting the story to be given to the other two teams, who will be referred to as the Tellers, as they will have to tell the taleThe Admin or Judge of the Setters will select the cat-ings (see page 1 for explanation) to be issued, from the chart for the appropriate genre.Each genre will have three charts for competitors to choose from; but whatever one is selected it must be used by all.The judges' roles differ slightly; in as much as the Tellers' has a shorter period of time to select his/her team's BEST before sending it direct to the Setters' judge. The latter has longer because he not only has to MARK both Teller stories but has to select the best Setters' teams as well.The judges' markings will determine the outcome.
