With College Algebra Interactive, Trigsted has once again re-imagined the MyMathLab(R) experience to help students make strong conceptual connections and better retain knowledge. Students engage in learning through videos, and animations embedded within the Trigsted iText. However, the revolutionary power of this new experience is in the Interactive Assignments that allow instructors to truly assign the iText and the animations and videos that are included in it. Exercises are integrated throughout the Interactive Assignments to check student understanding, and answers are recorded in the gradebook. This package contains the Access Kit for the MyMathLab course plus the Guided Notebook. The Guided Notebook is an interactive workbook that guides students through the course by asking them to write down key definitions and work through important examples for each section of the eText. This resource is available in a three-hole-punched, unbound format to provide the foundation for a personalized course notebook. Students can integrate their class notes and homework notes within the appropriate section of the Guided Notebook. Instructors can customize the Guided Notebook files found within MyMathLab.

Kirk Trigsted teaches mathematics at the University of Idaho and has been Director of the Polya Mathematics Center since its inception in 2001. Kirk has taught with MyMathLab for many years, and has contributed to the videos for several Pearson books. Kirk is also actively involved with the National Center for Academic Transformation (NCAT).
