Overview

The year is 2089, and the world's population has just been decimated by a racially motivated bioterrorist attack gone awry. The half million survivors, all living on the Mediterranean island of Bethel, embark on an unprecedented plan to direct human evolution and rid humanity of the pervasive xenophobia and interracial fear that nearly rendered all human life extinct. Gary Shapero is a born and bred Torontonian and studied medicine at the University of Toronto. He is a father of three young men and works full-time as a physician in the field of headache and pain management. TRIBE is his debut novel and the centrepiece of the upcoming TRIBE trilogy.
