Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationSuzan Stroud is the founder of Treblemakers Music School in Brooklyn, New York, where she lives with her family. All throughout her experience as a full-time piano teacher for over 20 years Suzan had felt there was an insufficient amount of material for students just beginning the process of reading music. As a consequence, students would memorize the few songs in whichever method book she used. In order to combat this common occurrence Suzan used pieces from several different method books so that her students would have to read rather than memorize so many different songs. In 2010 after several years of researching the science of learning and game theory, she began writing original songs for Treblemakers Music School students, to develop strong reading skills from the very first lesson. The success and growth of Treblemakers Music School eventually led to the creation of The Treblemakers Music Method series, which incorporates all the tools used at the school, now available to anyone from self-learners to parents and teachers. Suzan is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and author of The Treblemakers Music Method, currently available for Piano, with Guitar and Drum method books to be released in 2016.
