HANS STEINER is professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences in the Division of Child Psychiatry at the Stanford University School of Medicine. IRVIN D. YALOM is professor emeritus of psychiatry at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He is the author of several basic textbooks, including the Classic Theory and Practice of Group Psychotherapy, as well as the best-selling trade book Love's Executioner and the award-winning novel When Nietzsche Wept.
