John C. Jeske served 20 years in the parish ministry and then spent another 25 years teaching the Old Testament as a professor at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary (Mequon, WI). Years spent studying the biblical languages instilled in him a love for Greek and Hebrew, and more than half a century of daily devotions spent in the Hebrew Old Testament and Greek New Testament increased his understanding of the sacred treasures God shared with believers through his prophets and apostles.
