Joking around is the BEST! This is one of our favorite books. The illustrations are beautiful. The story is great but the jokes are what we love most. We always end trying to think of our own jokes. I highly recommend this book. It's enjoyable for children and adults alike. Fun story My grandson lives in a different state. He is 5. We read and discussed this over FaceTime! Great story about trying new foods, friendship, and being in a new place! Good info in the authors note. Favorite!! All three of my girls absolutely loved this book. Recommend highly I bought this for students in the 2nd grade that I mentor in reading. They liked it because reading about jokes and food is universal hit. Attention Keeping For Little One! My 5 year old grandson can't sit still long enough to have stories read to him but this book has action everywhere and great pictures. He sat long enough to get through the entire book! And asked me read another Travels with Zozo book to him. I recently ordered 2 more. Highly praise from a reluctant reader. Clever!! We liked the clever ending. It's the best joke in the book! Recent favorite in the bedtime routine Let me start by saying our bookshelves are overflowing with picture books! I am certifiably a children's book addict. I'm happy to say that this one has not made it to the shelf yet because my kids keep requesting me to read it- yes every night! I'm also happy to say that I am not tired of it yet. Writing a series with each story as completely unique as the place it's set in is a challenge Atlas enthusiastically embraces. Whether readers meet flamingos and viscachas on the Bolivian salt flats, elephants and baboons near Zambia and Zimbabwe's great waterfall, or Icelandic horses under the Northern Lights, the widely differing settings provide a backdrop for readers to meet diverse characters and rich cultures. Atlas' extensive travel experiences in nearly fifty countries and throughout all fifty U.S. states provide firsthand insight into the settings for the books.
