David and Donna Lane become the voice of creative regeneration and, through the power of story, they rekindle the embers of new life amongst people who become hopeless bewildered by deep, inexplicable loss and by tragedies that have left them feeling abandoned and alone. In the final analysis, every person's life turns out to be a story. The telling and retelling, the hearing and rehearing of story awakens within us that inner imagination that ignites the flames of hope where only sadness and disappointment have brought us down. Through story, they teach us that every ending is the embryo of new beginnings, if only we have the courage to mount the wings of angels and live forward toward the light. A practical manual for brief intervention: This manual provides counselors and other clinicians with practical steps on how to use narrative therapy with groups. User friendly and culturally relevant. Highly recommend! The worst thing that happens to us is never the last thing that happens to us.
