This book looks into the future of transport infrastructures through green transition, digital transformation, and modern transport infrastructure. It is divided into three parts. António Gomes Correia is Emeritus Professor at the University of Minho and continues his research at the Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering (ISISE), University of Minho. His activities involve research, teaching, and consulting in the general field of geotechnical and transportation engineering for 45 years. Alexandre Pinto is founder and technical manager of JETsj Geotecnia Lda and invited Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environment, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal. His activities involve consulting and teaching in the general field of geotechnical engineering for 30 years. José Neves graduated in Civil Engineering (PhD, MSc, BSc). He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environment, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal. He is a senior research member of the Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability (CERIS), Portugal.
