Sandra Cupples was a heart transplant coordinator for 13 years. Subsequently, as the National Director for Clinical Operations at the Veteran's Health Administration's National Surgery Office, she had oversight of 20 solid organ and 3 bone marrow transplant programs. Sandra Cupples served on the International Transplant Nurses Society Board of Directors for seven years, most recently as President and was an Associate Editor of Progress in Transplantation for over 15 years.
