She was identified as the 'Top Researcher in the field of Language & Linguistics' in The Australian's 2021 Research Magazine, and one of the Top 250 Researchers in Australia in 2021. She is an Editor-in-Chief of Australian Review of Applied Linguistics. Rhonda Oliver is Professor at the School of Education, Curtin University, Australia. She has published widely in the areas of second language and dialect acquisition with child and adolescent language learners. Her recent work includes the award-winning textbook Indigenous Education in Australia (co-edited with Shay, Routledge, 2021). Li Wei is Director and Dean of the UCL Institute of Education, University College London, where he holds a Chair in Applied Linguistics.
