Her research interests are in translation history, postcolonial translation theory, literary translation, and translation in or involving Africa. She is the author of Decolonizing Translation: Francophone African Novels in English Translation (2014 [2009]). Sue-Ann Harding is Assistant Professor of Translation Studies and Russian at Hamad bin Khalifa University, Qatar. Her research interests are in translation and social narrative theory especially in sites of conflict and narrative contestation.
